Features:
Set on a small allotment, the Architect Craig Stoll was faced with a challenge to design an individual looking home with a difference, yet stay within strict council guidelines. The result was a two storey home that boasts a display of innovative angles, rooflines and finishes. Large double glazed windows and deck face Port Phillip Bay, a short 100m stroll away. Upon entry inside the home, a large foyer with feature staircase greets you. From the foyer you can look through the expansive glass wall through to the private courtyard which accommodates an in ground concrete spa pool. The lower floor consists of a large games room area, 2 bedrooms, laundry and bathroom. The view from the upper floor can be admired from the living room, dining, kitchen & master bedroom. The kitchen and living room have tall raked ceilings, which feature highlight windows. Timber flooring dominates the upper floor, as well as the lower floor passage. The cabinetry and appliances complement the already tasteful interior, whilst the render & stone walls complete the homes exterior. Energy efficiency is of importance, hence the concrete floors, 75mm polystyrene external walls, double-glazing & bulk insulation. |
